Final Friday at the Labor Party August 2011

OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS, DESIGNERS & CREATIVE TYPES

This upcoming Final Friday, August 26, the Labor Party will present “Fortunes Unknown,” a group art show in downtown Wichita.

We want you to participate. To register, contact fortunes@labor-party.com or stop by (we’re at 216 N. Mosley). Your $10 registration fee gets you a fortune cookie and 12″×16″ masonite substrate. The fortune you receive will serve as inspiration for your piece, which may be created using any medium, as long it’s presented on the substrate provided.

The show will open on Final Friday in August, where all pieces will be listed for $25, all of which goes to the artist (because we are gracious). The art will remain up throughout the month of September and unsold pieces will be returned to the artist or will remain the property of The Labor Party – whichever you prefer.
